# Traders

In *Hedge Empire*, **traders** are your core production units. They are the ones generating **$FUND** daily, in exchange for a hiring cost and a salary to remain active.

Each trader has three core attributes:

* 🧾 A **one-time hiring cost** (in $FUND)
* 💰 A **daily salary**
* 📈 A **fixed daily reward**

Your role is to manage the balance between cost and yield. The more traders you recruit, the more you earn — but only if your salary structure is sustainable.

There are multiple trader profiles, each designed with a different **performance-to-cost ratio**. From the accessible *Junior Analyst* to the high-yield *Hedge Fund Partner*, every trader fits a particular scaling strategy.
